Sand Art

This is much more visually appealing than the sand art I made at Six Flags when I was 10.

Succulents!

I've really been getting in to succulents lately. Mainly from just seeing them on design blogs, since they aren't incredibly common in Oklahoma. I definitely plan on getting some this weekend though. Succulents are flowers in the cacti family. They don't need to be watered very often and can grow very well inside. They feel really funny to the touch and are so so pretty!

Sadie Cat

I have a brand new precious little kitten. She is very sassy. I love her so much.

She has a certain Blade Runner quality to her I think.

No more bobby pins!

I was watching The Today Show last week and they talked about these little gems: Goody Spin Pins.

They twisted someone's hair into a bun, twisted in the spin pins, and BAM perfect messy awesome bun.

For someone who leaves a trail of bobby pins wherever she goes, it seemed like it would be worth a try.

The verdict? BUY THEM. THEY ARE CHEAP AND AMAZING. Soooo easy to use and secures your hair pretty well.

Bobby pins, are you gone forever?
Most likely not. But spin pins are great.

Engineering Paper rug

This rug is like an engineering paper/notebook paper hybrid! That you can spread out on your floor!

The price isn't included on the website, which more than likely means it costs far more than I can afford.

dreaming of some dreamcats

This is finals week. Eeek. I am ready to graduate and get myself a big girl job.

My graduation present to myself will be a sweet lil kitten. Gotta wait a few more weeks for that, but until then, dreamcats is keeping me occupied.

dreamcats - girls & cats, cats in soft focus, cats on film. So dreamy! Definitely a new favorite. Kingsley has even made a few appearances on the site.
